A pair of ivory glass beads decorated with raku frit and raised silvered ivory stringer. The beads have been treated in the flame to give an aged, pitted effect.

This is a lovely tapered shape but please note the top of the bead is more vulnerable than most to breakage so please take care not to drop them when working on your jewellery designs.

These beads are made to order and will not be those photographed. The design will be the same but as each bead is handmade individually there may be slight variations.

🔥SIZE:
The beads are approximately 30mm long
Made on 2mm mandrels

All my beads are kiln annealed from the flame

If you like my work but don’t see exactly what you are looking for then feel free to get in touch. I can often change the colour or size of a bead design. Sometimes I can adapt a design to use on different shaped bead. If you see a set of bead which has sold then I may well be able to repeat it.

🔥PROCESSING TIME:
Your beads will generally ship within 1 week but at very busy times this may extend to 2 weeks.

UK orders are sent by Royal Mail 1st Class which aims to deliver the next working day although this is not guaranteed and can sometimes be 2-3 days.
US orders (other than Puerto Rico, Alaska, Guam and the US Virgin Islands) will be dispatched with Transglobal Express. Delivery within the USA is by USPS . This service is tracked and delivery should generally be within 10-11 days.
Other International orders are sent by Royal Mail International Standard Service and delivery times will vary according to country.
